The modern mechanical equipment of the Skaramanga facility and the blending and packaging plant located within this facility ensures the ability to produce many different types of lubricant blends that result, through packaging combinations, in a variety of lubricant SKUs.
The quality of the lubricant products is ensured at all critical stages of the process by the checks carried out, which certify the compliance of the products produced with the design specifications. EKO’s lubricants activity is certified according to the EN ISO 9001 standard for the Design, Production, Storage, Handling, Distribution and Marketing of lubricants.
EKO’s Chemistry Department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art automatic analytical devices. It is distinguished for its high performance in international process controls and in inspections by official bodies and quality experts of partnering leading multinational companies.
Alongside the production of its lubricants, EKO has undertaken the production of bp and Castrol lubricants on behalf of “BP Hellenic”, following the discontinuation of the production activity of “BP Hellenic” in Greece at the end of 2012. The undertaking of this project by EKO is an indicator of the high standards that EKO maintains in the production of lubricants.
