The company “HELLENIC FUELS MINERAL OILS SOLE-PERSON INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL COMPANY” with its registered office in Maroussi, Attica, 8A Himarras, 15125 (hereinafter referred to for brevity as “EKO SA” or “Organizer”), in collaboration with the advertising company under the name “THE NEWTONS LABORATORY SA” (hereinafter referred to as “THE NEWTONS”) with its registered office in Chalandri, Attica, 57 Ethnikis Antistaseos Street, (jointly referred to as “The Companies”), are organizing a promotional event via the Internet entitled “EKO Acropolis Rally 2024-MEET THE CREW” in the context of promoting the products and services of the Organizer. By participating in the competition, all participants fully and unreservedly accept the following terms:
1. Right to Participate – Conditions
1.1. The right to participate in the promotional action is open to those who have reached the age of 18, are residents of Greece and have legal capacity. Employees and representatives of the company “THE NEWTONS LABORATORY S.A.” of “EKO SA” as well as its affiliated companies, as well as their first and second degree relatives, their spouses or anyone else professionally related to the said promotional action are excluded.
1.2. A necessary condition for someone to take part in the promotional action, other than those defined above, is to have a personal account on Instagram, while participation in the promotional action presupposes and implies acceptance of Instagram’s terms of registration, its privacy and security policy and consequently the waiver of any relevant claim against Instagram in relation to this promotional action.
1.3. Participation in the promotional action requires access to the internet by interested parties using their own technical means. The “companies” do not undertake any obligation regarding ensuring, assisting access to internet sites or providing facilities to any interested party. Access to the promotional action website is permitted only under the operating conditions of the relevant server and the technical and other conditions and specifications. Furthermore, the “companies” are not responsible for any burden on participating users for the above reasons.
1.4. Participation in this promotional action does not require the purchase of products from the Organizer or the risking of any amount of money in any way by the participants for the purpose of profit.
2. Duration
2.1. The duration of this promotional action begins on Thursday 04/09/2024 and ends on Saturday 07/09/2024 at 23:30.2.2. Entries (stories tagged with @ekogreece) submitted within the time limits of the promotional action are considered valid and after the expiry date of the above promotional action, no participation will be accepted.
2.3. The Organizing Company reserves the right to modify, limit or extend the duration of the promotional action, by amending these terms. This modification will be effective automatically from its publication on the promotional action page.
2.4. Entries submitted after the expiry of the initial and/or shortened and/or extended deadline for participation in this promotional action, in accordance with the above, will be considered automatically null and void and will no longer have any effect against anyone, while they do not create any type of right in favor of the participant.
2.5. The Start and End Time of the promotional action, the time of active submission of the participation and receipt of any point, as well as the measurement of all indications related to the promotional action will be based on the electronic computers that will be used for this purpose by the Organizer and not on the respective indications of the participants’ computers.
3. Participation in the action
In order to take part in this promotional action, each interested party is invited to take a photo with the racing cars at the EKO stand in Lamia or at the S.E.A. Sirio, to upload the IG Story mentioning the EKO account (https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/) as well as to follow the EKO account on the following page https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/ . A necessary condition for someone to take part in the Competition, apart from those specified in article 1, is to have a personal account on Instagram, while participation in the promotional action presupposes and implies acceptance of the Instagram registration terms and conditions and consequently the waiver of any relevant claim against Instagram in relation to this promotional action. Entries submitted within the promotional period and comments/correct answers that do not offend public decency and good morals or contain content that is offensive to honor and dignity, do not contain content that is abusive, inflammatory, racist, that offends human dignity or creates discrimination against individuals due to racial or ethnic origin, religious or other beliefs, disability, age or sexual orientation, or that is contrary to applicable provisions or is in any other way inappropriate are considered valid. Answers/comments under comments by other participants will be considered invalid. The “Companies” bear no responsibility for user comments as well as in the event of incorrect registration or incomplete data.
4. Gifts
The prizes offered to be drawn in the Competition are defined in the relevant Instagram Post announcing the competition and include 5 (five) complete series of EKÖ Acropolis Rally car figures.The prizes that will be made available by the Organizer within the framework of this promotional action are as specified above and their exchange with other prizes or redemption for cash is excluded. Also, the prizes are personal and non-transferable. In case of unavailability of the Prizes, as described above, the Organizer is entitled to offer alternative prizes/of the same value as the Prizes. In the event of force majeure, security reasons or other circumstances beyond the control of the “companies” or third parties, the “Organizer” may and is entitled NOT to offer the Prizes, in which case it will be exempt from any liability and will not be obliged to offer an alternative prize of any form and value. The “Companies” shall not bear any criminal or civil liability towards any winner or third party, for any accident that may occur and/or damage and/or for any physical or other harm that may be caused to them directly or indirectly related to the Prizes, the use of the Prizes or for any other reason. The “Companies” shall not be liable for any defects in the Prizes or for any other reason and shall not be liable or assume any obligation towards the participants and/or the winners. After the expiration of the promotional period and the distribution of the Gifts as mentioned above, any obligation of the companies ceases to exist.
5. Winners Announcement
5.1. The winners will be announced on Monday 09/09/2024, at the headquarters of THE NEWTONS, which has undertaken the advertising promotion of this promotional action (Chalandri Attica, 57 Ethnikis Antistaseos Street) following the collection of usernames and responses of users who have posted a comment/response in accordance with the above terms and through an electronic platform for generating random codes (electronic draw). The “Companies” are entitled to cancel the draw or change the date of its holding. The above electronic draw will select ten (10) winners and ten (10) alternate runners-up in the event that for any reason it is not possible to contact them or they do not accept their gifts. The winners will be informed on the page maintained by the Organizer on the social networking website https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/.
5.2. The winners will be invited to contact the Organizer within 24 hours of the announcement by sending a personal message on the above website and to provide their other contact details. The Organizer is not liable for any damages of any kind – nature, related to the voluntary publication by the participant/visitor of personal data or other sensitive information. In any cases of this kind, the participants/visitors accept full and exclusive responsibility for any possible consequences, even in the case of malicious harassment by third parties. In the event that the winners, whose names will have been announced, do not contact the Organizer within the time limit as above and/or do not accept the prize(s) offered to them, they will automatically and ipso jure and permanently forfeit the prize(s), and the first runner-up will be called to contact and accept in their place, using the aforementioned procedure. In the event that he also does not contact the Organizer or does not accept the prize offered to him, then the second runner-up will be called to take his place. If it is not possible to contact the winners for any reason not due to the Organizer’s fault by the day provided for in these terms, the Organizer is released from any obligation towards the specific winners and the Organizer reserves the right to dispose of the prize(s) at its discretion that was not claimed and/or not received in a timely manner by the winner(s), in which case it is released from any obligation towards the respective winner(s).
5.3. In any case, any of the winners, at any stage – even during the stage of awarding the prizes – may be cancelled for the following reasons: (a) in case they do not meet these terms in their entirety, all of which are considered essential, (b) due to an impediment under these terms, (c) in case for any reason it is not possible to contact them within the predetermined deadlines set out in these terms and (d) if they do not present a legal document proving their identity and age upon receipt of the Prize.
6. Personal data – Declaration of consent
By typing their comment under the promotional post, as specifically defined in points 1 to 3 above, participants declare their understanding of these terms in their entirety and provide their explicit and clear consent, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), as applicable, to the collection of their personal data and their processing for the needs of conducting the program, namely for the purposes of 1. organizing and completing the draw and 2. informing and communicating with participants and in particular the winners of the competition, exclusively regarding the program. The Organizing Companies will process the personal data of the participants exclusively and only for the above purposes of the program. The personal data of the participants will not be disclosed to third parties and will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area. The personal data of the winners will be kept until the delivery of the Gift as described above. After the delivery of the Gift, as defined in these Detailed Terms, the relevant data will be destroyed. The Organizer is the Data Controller of the participants’ personal data and only processes data relating to contact details (e.g. Instagram direct message, telephone number) and personal details of the participants (e.g. name, surname, location).
Each participant has the right to access, update, rectify, object to the further processing of his/her personal data and portability, as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation. To exercise his/her rights, the participant may contact the Organizing Companies at the contact details provided below.
At any time, the participant may freely withdraw his consent and request deletion of his personal data.

The Organizing Companies are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of personal data when processing it and have taken all appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent personal data breaches, which concern them exclusively. Any issues of personal data breaches that concern the Instagram website/platform exclusively, such as, but not limited to, malware, identity theft, phishing and any other form of cyberattacks, do not concern the Organizing Companies.
7. Modification of Terms
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms, shorten or extend the duration of this promotional action or withdraw it with prior notice by any appropriate means, as well as to replace the gifts with others of equal value at its discretion and in general to amend any term of the promotional action by promptly informing the participants with an announcement via the page https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/.
8. Organizer’s Disclaimer
8.1. The Organizer shall not be liable in the event that participants ignore the terms and participants agree to fully indemnify the Organizer against any claims from any third party arising from any breach of these terms. The Organizer shall not be liable for any damage arising on INSTAGRAM and the page https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/.
8.2. The “Companies” bear no responsibility for user comments, as well as in the event of incorrect registration or incomplete information.
8.3. The Organizer bears absolutely no responsibility if, for reasons beyond its sphere of influence and control, the receipt of entries fails or is delayed, or finally, if the records kept by it are destroyed, partially or completely.
8.4. It is clarified that this promotional action is not carried out by Instagram, nor is it sponsored or otherwise sanctioned or associated with Instagram and therefore Instagram bears no responsibility for any claim or demand of a participant or any third party arising from or in connection with this Competition.
9. Acceptance of the terms – Consent
9.1. Participation in this promotional action presupposes and implies the unconditional acceptance of all terms and conditions herein.
9.2. Participants acknowledge and unconditionally accept that the operation of the above-mentioned page of the Organizer may be affected or temporarily interrupted due to network problems. More generally, participation in the promotional action may be subject to changes or interruptions that depend entirely on the capabilities of both the social networking website in question and the existing technology on which they are based and which are beyond the control and responsibility of the Organizer, which bears no responsibility for all the above reasons. If it is proven that a participant has been declared a winner in violation of the terms of this, by fraudulent means, he will not be awarded his prize or will automatically lose any right to possess it, and the Organizer in this case reserves all its rights against the said participant.
10. Copyright
Participants do not have or acquire any rights whatsoever over the trademarks, names, indications, emblems and other distinctive signs of the companies and Instagram and any modification, publication, transmission, transfer, reproduction, distribution, presentation, linking, downloading or otherwise exploiting, in whole or in part, in any way or means for commercial or other purposes, without the prior written permission of the beneficiary, is prohibited.
11. Jurisdiction – Applicable Law
Any dispute arising in relation to this promotional action will be referred exclusively to the Courts of Athens and Greek Law will apply.
12. Publicity
These terms and conditions will be posted throughout the duration of the promotional campaign on the page maintained by the Organizer on the website https://www.instagram.com/eko_greece/
